Middle School

The middle school years at KCC focus on the unique passage from childhood to young adulthood. KCC embraces this period of rapid social, emotional, intellectual and physical change with understanding and encouragement. While engaging in the solid knowledge of the core subjects, students are encouraged to develop new and deeper interests in each area. Middle School enjoys having efficient student-to-teacher ratio enabling personal relationships to develop with teachers and classmates. This assists our teachers in knowing their students and attempting to academically and emotionally meet the needs of each student.

These middle years introduce students to having multiple teachers for various subjects, while becoming an advocate for themselves with various teaching styles. We require our students to learn solid study skills, useful organizational habits and a strong work ethic. This will enable students to be successful long after they leave the halls of KCC.

Surrounding our academic rigor, a growing independence and maturity in each students Christian walk is mentored and modeled through daily Bible discussions, personal interactions with dedicated teachers and chapel. It is in this period of transition that we introduce young believers to an emerging adult faith.
"Our middle schoolers are really blessed with an environment that gives them a sense of ownership and helps them mature." Middle School Teacher
