Kansas City Christian School offers hot lunch options for K-12 Monday through Friday. There are a few guidelines that we would like you to review to assist you in placing your students lunch orders.
1. In preparing your lunch order, make sure that your student looks over the attached menu along with you and selects the meals they will eat. While a month of menus are provided, you may order as many or as few as needed.
2. Please make a copy of your menu and post on fridge for your reference.
3. Please be sure to fill forms out completely with student first and last name, teachers name, along with grade, your email address, telephone number, etc. One student per form please. If you need additional copies for siblings, please email us and we will send it to you.
4. Please make checks payable to “Feeding the Lambs” and not to the school.
5. Send your lunch order with payments to the school office by due date to ensure that your student will be recorded on the lunch list.
6. During the school year times of uncertain winter weather where school cancellations are possible, last minute preparations for hot lunches may require modification in the scheduled menu.
7. Please keep track of any absences and field trip days in which your student will not need a meal. While we attempt to keep track of missed lunches, we rely on parent information as support.
8. Be sure to return lunch order with payment to school office by monthly due date. While it is never too late to order, we greatly appreciate your cooperation in meeting the deadline. This allows us to prepare our purchase orders accordingly to ensure we have ample food to serve all students requiring a lunch
Following these steps will help to ensure that your student is provided the lunches required.
