The Board

Kansas City Christian School is governed by a Board of Directors that is responsible for
faithfully stewarding the school's mission, direction, and long-term health, so that KCC remains
an extraordinary place of education, spiritual formation, and community for the students in its
classrooms today and for those who will fill them in years to come. The Board pursues this end
by directing the school toward what a student's time at KCC must accomplish, protecting that
work by setting the boundaries within which that work is carried out, and enabling the school's
leadership with oversight and support.

The Board entrusts the leadership, day-to-day operation of the school, and the fulfillment of its
mission to the Head of School and the team of dedicated administrators and teachers they
oversee. Working together, the Board and the Administration ensure that Kansas City Christian
School remains a place where young people are educated, trained, and sent out to make Christ-
shaped contributions to the world for generations to come.

We value open communication and encourage members of our school community to reach out
when questions or concerns arise regarding the day-to-day operations of the school. Whenever
possible, we encourage you to begin by connecting directly with the person most closely
involved in the matter. This allows for clear communication, understanding, and a timely
response.

If additional support or clarification is needed, the principal or another member of the
Administration is available to help. If questions or concerns remain, the Head of School is also
available to provide further guidance and support. Our goal is to work together in a spirit of trust,
respect, and partnership as we seek what is best for our students and school community.
The Board welcomes thoughtful engagement from our community and values the partnership of
families, faculty, staff, and supporters as we work together to ensure KCC remains faithful to its
mission and well-positioned for the future. Community members with questions, feedback, or
concerns related to these areas are encouraged to contact the Board directly at
