Tuition & Fees

Tuition is scheduled and paid online through FACTS. Payment options are annually, semi-annually, quarterly, monthly or bi-monthly.

 

Application fee: $50 per student

Enrollment fee: $450 per family. 

Enrollment fee: $550 per family after June 30th.

Enrollment fees apply to families in K-12.  This does not apply to preschool.

 

We offer up to 50% of need-based tuition assistance to families at KCC in grades K-12.  Our Preschool program does not qualify. 

Families seeking tuition assistance must submit an online application to FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment, an independent, third-party organization that reviews financial data provided by families, providing recommendations to KCC for tuition assistance grant awards.  There is a payment of a nonrefundable $40 application fee.

 

Tuition assistance allocations are overseen by our school’s Finance Team. 

A 529 account has tax advantages and potentially other incentives to make it easier to pay for private K-12 education.

Federal tax benefits

•      Growth within the plan is federally tax-deferred
•      Withdrawals for qualified expenses are tax-free, including up to $10,000 annually for private K-12 tuition.

State Tax Benefits

•      Kansas residents can deduct contributions to a 529 plan from their state taxable income.

A 50% discount is offered for students in grades K-12 for full-time senior and next-gen ministries pastors at churches in the KC metro area. The church must be in full agreement with our Statement of Beliefs and Human Dignity Policy.  Please reach out to Tracie Burrow at [email protected] to see if you qualify.

                                                                                          

No. Only families who feel that they are not able to pay full tuition should submit an application.

 

Do I need to apply for assistance every year?

Yes, a new application must be submitted every year. Returning students can apply beginning in January.

 

Do returning students receive priority over new students when applying for tuition assistance?

Yes. Re-enrolling Kansas City Christian students who submit an application by the published deadline will receive priority consideration.

 

If I do not qualify for the program this year, can I apply again next year?

Yes. A family that does not qualify is welcome to reapply the following year.

 

Do I need to apply for admission separately from applying for tuition assistance?

Yes. For new students, an application for admission to the school must be submitted before an application for financial assistance.
